What are the causes?
Excessive stress is often indicated as the cause, as is excessive nervousness, anger, pain, frustration and aggression.
But there is also evidence that it can be caused by an imbalance in neurotransmitters.
The influence of some drugs cannot be excluded, especially antidepressants such as fluoxetine and paroxetine.
What is the treatment?

Biofeedback measures the amount of muscle activity in the mouth and jaw
